The Sneak Of The Week is the Air Jordan III Doernbecher by Cole Johanson. Each year a few patients at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital team up with a Nike designer to create their dream shoe. The shoes are then released in limited amounts to benefit the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital having raised over $2.4 million dollars thus far in the seven years of the ongoing project. This year the final installment in the Doernbecher x Nike Freestyle Collection, and arguably the most popular in the line up, is a new twist on a classic Jordan Brand model, the Air Jordan III. Before the NBA season started in October, Nike Basketball gave Miami locals an early chance to cop the newest LeBron James signature shoe, in an exclusive classic Miami inspired colorway, weeks before the first general release colorway of the sneakers would drop elsewhere.
