The Sneak Of The Week is the Air Jordan Infrared VI Pack. In the early 90′s Nike was all about making colorways with ‘pop’. The Air Jordan VI was no exception. For the first time Air Jordan broke away from their staple colors of white, black, and red, and used a new ‘infrared’ color (also on the popular OG Air Max 90). While many today would call this color ‘pink’ it was actually an attempt at a fluorescent or neon red. The Air Jordan Infrared VI was originally released in 1991, the same season Micheal Jordan won his first Championship. After nearly two decades of never being retro’ed, the ‘Infrareds’ became somewhat of a ‘Holy Grail’ sought after by fans the World over. On Saturday June 19th the wait is over as both the White and the Black ‘Infrared’ VI will release in limited quantities as a pack at select Jordan Brand accounts.
