The Sneak Of The Week is the Silver Anniversary Air Jordan Retro XI. As Jordan Brand celebrates it’s twenty fifth anniversary in 2010, they continue to release their classic models in white and silver colorways paying somewhat a traditional homage to the occasion. Preceded by the I, II, III, IV, and IX, the next of these silhouettes is arguably the most popular of all Jordan Brand’s lineage, the Air Jordan XI. The shoes are strikingly similar to the original 1996 fan favorite ‘Columbia’ XI colorway that has yet to re-release since early 2001, making the Anniversary XIs a ‘must cop’ for many old and new collectors alike. However, even stripped of color accents, the most notable difference in these shoes is that they are the first retro XI to ever release without the classic Jumpman icon on the heel.
