Sneak Of The Week

The Sneak Of The Week is the Copper Nike Air Foamposite. One of Nike’s most popular and most expensive basketball models ever produced. Originally worn by Penny Hardaway in the prime of his career, the new Penny line of Nike Basketball shoes would arguably challenge the champion Air Jordan line for high tech basketball sneaker supremacy. The shoes even had their own line of memorible commercials with a fan favorite mascot and mini me, ‘Lil Penny’. Within the last year Nike has been retroing much of the Penny line with great success. The latest installment is one of the most popular models the Foamposite, and it derives its inspiration from the color of a penny, copper.  The Nike Air Foamposite will be releasing in limited quantities at select Nike Basketball accounts this Saturday, February 13th. Sneak Of The Week

The Sneak Of The Week is the Air Jordan VI Retro Motor Sports. Everyone knows Micheal Jordan’s passion for the game of basketball, as he was well known for leaving everything on the hardwood floor any given night. What some may not know is after retiring from Basketall, Micheal Jordan found a new passion in motorcycle racing. When these shoes originally surfaced as exclusive footwear for the Jordan Motorsports team, many said they would never be released to the public. Finally after months of speculation and anticipation, the Air Jordan VI Retro Motor Sports will release Saturday, February 6th at select Jordan Brand accounts including Premium Goods, Active Athlete, Politics, and House of Hoops. Jaylib vs J Rocc

This month we celebrate the memory of the late great J Dilla the super producer. Shortly before his untimely passing, Dilla worked on a collaboration project with Madlib known as Jaylib.  J Rocc put together this promotional mix for the project, and would later go on to become the third member of Jaylib, as he would DJ all their live sets. Dilla is gone, but his legacy lives on through his timeless music and influence on countless others. Both of the other members of Jaylib; Madlib and J Rocc will be in Houston on Saturday, February 27th at Numbers to end Dilla month with a bang!
