This month we celebrate the memory of the late great J Dilla the super producer. Shortly before his untimely passing, Dilla worked on a collaboration project with Madlib known as Jaylib.  J Rocc put together this promotional mix for the project, and would later go on to become the third member of Jaylib, as he would DJ all their live sets. Dilla is gone, but his legacy lives on through his timeless music and influence on countless others. Both of the other members of Jaylib; Madlib and J Rocc will be in Houston on Saturday, February 27th at Numbers to end Dilla month with a bang!

Dilla Month is almost here! Come celebrate the legacy of J Dilla and support the J Dilla foundation February 7th at Meridian. But that’s not all! Later in the month the other two members of his super group, ‘Jaylib’ will be at Numbers on February 27th.

The latest Stones Throw Podcast features new and unreleased excerpts from Strong Arm Steady’s recently released album,  “In Search Of Stoney Jackson”. The album was produced by Madlib, who will also be in Houston, February 27th at Numbers.

The Homie Dj A-1 and Dj Sober have been working diligently on this mix for the last several weeks. It is all done, packaged up and ready for download.
