FDL Minneapolis Lumber Jackers Cap
The next featured city in the series of Frank Distribution League Caps is Minneapolis, a city long known for its wealth of timber. It became the saw-milling capital of the country in the 1860s, and at the turn of the century, more than 20,000 lumberjacks populated the state of Minnesota. These men worked tirelessly to provide Americans with raw building material for everything from their homes to their ships. The Lumber Jackers logo borrows the Minneapolis professional basketball colorway and employs a thick, sturdy font. Featured prominently in the center of the logo is an M, created using the silhouette of a white pine, the tree of choice during the golden age of Minneapolis lumberjacking. The Lumber Jackers logo stands for fearlessness, dedication to your work, and brute strength.

Sneak Of The Week
The Sneak Of The Week this week is the long awaited East vs West pack featuring shoes by DJ AM and DJ Premier. DJ AM’s sneaker of choice is the Nike Dunk High, while Premier chose the Air Force 1 Low. The pack was put together before the untimely death of DJAM, and placed on hold for a bit after his passing. Finally the shoes are set to release this Saturday, January 9th at select locations. However tonight DJ Premier will be DJing a special release event at Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer in New York, with a similar event taking place at Nike Sportswear at the Montalban in Los Angeles on Saturday. A few special commemorative packs have been put together only for these events featuring custom packaging including exclusive matching serato vinyl. 100% of the proceeds from these packs will go toward the DJ AM Memorial Fund. The shoes will also be made available individually at select Nike accounts such as Premium Goods in Houston, and Politics in Louisiana without the aforementioned custom packaging and vinyl. To hear more about the Sneak Of The Week tune in to The Houston Sports Rapp.
