The Sneak Of The Week is undoubtedly the Nike SB Gucci Dunk High. Originally intended to be released in the summer of 2005 along side the legendary Tiffany and Stussy Dunk Lows, the highly anticipated Gucci Dunk Highs were unexpectedly scrapped leaving many excited fans pondering. The shoes were designed by Girl Skateboards Team Manager Sam Smyth aka RESN as part of a Team Manager series. They are also a Considered Design which strives to feature more environmentally friendly materials. The Sneak Of The Week is the Nike SB Blazer Capsule Collection by Huf. For this release the SF based skate boutique takes a present day skate favorite, and draws inspiration from a skateboarding cult classic, the Converse Chuck Taylor. The shoes are available in either a black or white solid canvas upper featuring extra subtle stitching. The shoes are also adorned with a few other Chuck Tayloresque details such as metal eyelets and a familiar heel tab and mid sole pinstripe. A limited collection of matching apparel by Huf will also be released with the shoes.
